The Bluedot Fleet

To serve you best, we have our own Cessna C680 Sovereign Air Ambulance Jet, loaded with up-to-date medical equipment. Our aircraft has the biggest passenger capacity in its segment (4 co-passengers, plus medical crew and patient), and a relatively long-range (over 5000 km). It is the biggest midsize medevac flight in the Middle East and South Asia.

We also employ several kinds of jets from a large fleet of aircraft, depending on patient needs, from short-range, such as King Air B200, to mid-range, such as Learjet 45, to long-range flights such as Challenger 650 or Global Express, as well as network with ground ambulances and helicopter ambulances for shorter range parts of the journey.

About Qatar

Qatar is a sovereign state located in the Middle East, sharing its borders with Saudi Arabia to the south and the Persian Gulf to the north, east, and west.  It has a population of approximately 2.8 million, with Doha as its capital and largest city.  Qatar is known for its vast oil and gas reserves, which has made it one of the wealthiest nations in the world per capita.

As testament to its wealth, progress and development Qatar made history as the First Nation in the Middle East to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The event gave football lovers and tourists, globally an opportunity to come and experience first hand the spirit that Qatar embodies. It was not just an example of how technologically advanced the country is but also gave the world a glimpse of the Qatari hospitality rooted in its traditions and willingness to embrace the world with an open heart.

Qatar is also a hub for international travel, with its flagship airline, Qatar Airways, serving destinations across the globe. Despite its wealth and modernity, Qatar retains a strong connection to its heritage and traditions, including its Bedouin past and Islamic roots.

The country has a comprehensive public healthcare system that provides free or subsidized healthcare services to Qatari citizens, while expats and tourists can access care through private healthcare facilities.

Air Ambulance in Qatar

Air ambulance services in Qatar provide critical medical transportation for patients in need of urgent care. These services are particularly important in Qatar, given the country’s vast geography and the scattered nature of its population centers. Air ambulances are often used to transport patients from remote or inaccessible areas to hospitals and medical facilities in larger cities. Air Ambulance Services are also used by embassies and consulates for repatriation in countries like Qatar where there is a large expatriate population.

The Qatar government has invested heavily in the development of air ambulance services, with several companies now providing these services to residents and visitors alike. Ahammad Medical Corporation, the principal public healthcare provider in the state has expanded the LifeFlight service, their state-of-the-art helicopter ambulance fleet, and built dispatch point all across the country. Companies like these employ highly skilled medical personnel and use the most advanced equipment to ensure patients receive the best possible care during transport.
